Young/Young Adult & Teens
Our Young/Young Adult and Teens ministry provides opportunities for our youth to grow in their walk with God. We exist to show Christ to others, serve those around us, follow Christ and praise God in our daily walk in life. We actively engage teens in discussions that lead them to a greater understanding of God and their faith through Sunday morning classes, and our monthly events. You are invited to send you family to any of our activities and take a look at what is going on with our Youth Ministry.
Jail/Prison
I was in prison and you came to me ... Truly, I say to you, to the extent that you did it unto one of these...of mine, even the least of them, you did unto me." "Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me."
(Matthew 25:36, 40; John 12:26)
The vision of the Jail/Prison Ministry is to:
- To go to the incarcerated
- To tell the good news of Jesus Christ
- To bring life and hope through faith in Him
- To minister through prayer and fellowship
- To love unconditionally with the love of God
- To lead in praise and worship
Ladies Ministry
Our mission is to provide women of the Gray Road congregation opportunity to meet for regular bible study and discuss topics relative to spiritual growth. Periodic outreach activities will be planned to serve the sick, shut-in and those in need in our community. We strive to support each other in spiritual and daily situations.
Senior Ministry
The mission of the Senior's/Bridge-Gappers Ministry is to create an environment that teaches, encourages, supports, and respects one another in Christian love, and to honor and cherish our seniors because of the lives they've led, the wisdom they hold, and the examples they have set. Our goal is to build strong, collaborative relationships that will enable us to grow and develop our ministry, our outreach, our education, our fellowship and our spirituality.
Principles of Manhood
On June 10, 2006 about ninety men and boys ranging in age from 10 years to 70 years met in the first of what has beocome an on-going effort to look at issues of manhood. The workshop, entitled Principles of Manhood, was conceived to address the concerns that men and boys need to know the principles outlined in the Scripture of what it both means and takes to be a man pleasing to God. The workshop’s goal was to create scenarios or discussion points that allowed the men and boys at the workshop to speak out at ease with their opinions and positions.
The workshops format consist of large group sessions where issues of being a man in today’s society are outlined and small group sessions where participants are able to discuss in detail topics relevant to manhood.
